Laker Fridays

7:00 AM until 11:30 PM

Description: Laker Fridays are an opportunity for LSSU alumni, students, employees, friends and area businesses to show their support of Lake Superior State University by donning LSSU colors and apparel. Whether it's a blue suit coat, a gold sweater, a Laker hoodie or a pair of Laker anchor earrings, put it on come Friday, because every Friday is Laker Friday.

Alpha Kappa Chi 48-hour Teeter Totter-a-Thon

12:00 PM until 11:30 PM

Organization:

Description: Come support the Diane Peppler Resource Center and the Epilepsy Foundation by visiting the sisters of Alpha Kappa Chi for their annual teeter-totter-a-thon. From noon on Friday until noon on Sunday, the sisters will be braving the fierce wind, snow and rain. If you would like to help support the cause, whether it be with a donation or just keeping the girls company, please contact Nicki Drielts.

Alpha Chi Induction

Description: Join us for our annual induction into Alpha Chi, when we will induct the top 10% of juniors and seniors from across disciplines. Details on Alpha Chi are found at: https://www.alphachihonor.org/ Refreshments provided after the induction. All are invited.

Alpha Theta Omega Kid's Carnival

5:00 PM until 7:00 PM

Organization: Alpha Theta Omega

Description: Alpha Theta Omega sorority will be working with downtown trick or treating today and will be hosting a kid's carnival at the Ojibway Ramada Plaza Hotel. There will be games and prizes!

Seamore Shuttle

6:00 PM until 10:30 PM

Organization: Campus Life

Description: The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas, and downtown locations. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 on Friday and Saturday, and 1-10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Laker Cinema presents The Dark Knight Rises

9:30 PM until 12:00 AM

Organization: Campus Life

Description: Eight years on, a new terrorist leader, Bane, overwhelms Gotham's finest, and the Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that has branded him an enemy. Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway. You will have three opportunities to see this Laker Cinema presentation: Thursday at 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday at 9:30pm. All show in Peacock Cove of the Cisler Center.
