Laker Fridays are an opportunity for LSSU alumni, students, employees, friends and area businesses to show their support of Lake Superior State University by donning LSSU colors and apparel. Whether it's a blue suit coat, a gold sweater, a Laker hoodie or a pair of Laker anchor earrings, put it on come Friday, because every Friday is Laker Friday.
Come support the Diane Peppler Resource Center and the Epilepsy Foundation by visiting the sisters of Alpha Kappa Chi for their annual teeter-totter-a-thon. From noon on Friday until noon on Sunday, the sisters will be braving the fierce wind, snow and rain. Alpha Theta Omega sorority will be working with downtown trick or treating today and will be hosting a kid's carnival at the Ojibway Ramada Plaza Hotel. There will be games and prizes!
The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas, and downtown locations. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 on Friday and Saturday, and 1-10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
