Greg Scharf, Gladwin, MI, completed a project that compares the physiological effects of wearing a weighted vest versus full firefighter turnout gear while completing firefighter physical ability tests.
Julie Matheny, Dafter, MI, studied mood states of post-cardiac rehabilitation patients who choose to continue an exercise program.
Hillary Hartman, Drummond Island, MI, studied LSSU students' exercise habits and compared gender differences.
Bonnie Seleska, Dexter, MI, studied the effects of lower-body and core-resistance training on a person's one-mile run time.
