SMALL WORKS, BIG PERSPECTIVE – Wayne Whitehouse and his son, Wolfgang, join a packed gallery during the opening reception for the fifth annual 5×7 Art Show and Competition, hosted at the Lake Superior State University Arts Center on April 20. With them is Whitehouse’s daughter, Shayla, who submitted a work into this year’s competition. The works, each for $50, are in Arts Center gallery through May, 12 – 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit Arts Center gallery exhibition programming and Sunrise Rotary-underwritten literacy program initiatives in Sault Area Public Schools.
