Outgoing USPS Mail

Place mail needing postage in the Outgoing Mail Bin, located in the Mailroom Lobby. Please do not include personal mail with your outgoing mail.

Please sort outgoing mail as follows:

  • Foreign mail – separate to ensure mail is not returned for insufficient postage
  • All pieces of mail must be facing the same direction
  • All mail should be placed address side up and separated by Country and Envelope size
  • Unsealed mail – flaps should be folded down and separated from Sealed mail
  • Complete a Mail Authorization form (pink slip) and bundle mail together
Personal, Stamped Mail

Please put personal stamped mail in the Pre-Stamped Mail slot below the department mail boxes.

Inter-Departmental Mail

Inter-departmental mail is to be placed in the On-Campus Mail slot below the department mail boxes.  Employees relocating on-campus are to contact the Mail Room to update their new department and office location.

Incoming USPS Mail

The United States Postal Service drops off mail to 650 West Easterday Avenue between the hours of 10:00 am to 11:00 am, weather permitting.

Mail addressed to 680 West Easterday Avenue is dropped off by the Post Office to the Student Life and Housing Office (Walker Cisler University Center).

COD

Campus Mail Services cannot accept collect on delivery mail or packages. Delivery will be refused and returned to the sender.

Bulk Mailings

All bulk mailings (200+ pieces) require additional time and a 48-hour notice to ensure proper staffing and adequate postage in our USPS account.  Please complete the Request for Bulk-Large Volume Mailing Form  and forward to the Mail Room.

Campus Mailboxes and Keys

Each department is assigned a specific campus mailbox and key.  Please bring the key when picking up mail.  If a student worker forgets the department mailbox key and asks staff for their department mail, the Mailroom staff may contact the department to verify the student is authorized to pick up mail.

For lost or stolen mailbox keys, please notify the Mailroom right away so a new key can be requested.
