The Marketing department provides graphic design and, in many cases, printing needs for LSSU colleagues by operating as a type of boutique shop for its clients.
Marketing offers guidance on mailing options, brainstorms promotional materials and determines how to order them, and contracts with off-campus vendors for jobs that fall beyond its scope. Marketing also ensures adherence to LSSU brand standards and the LSSU style guide.

Order business cards at www.orderprinting.com. Unit secretaries will provide the account and password.
Timeline:
Requests for design projects must be submitted at least six weeks prior to anticipated due date. Note that this timeline includes all steps: from ideation, drafting, proofing, to printing. If design projects include photos, please submit photos for consideration and/or indicate that you request Marketing to search through archives. If design projects necessitate new photos, please complete an additional work order for photography. (The six weeks of notice is sufficient for projects that include photo components.) Generally speaking, requests for photocopies that don’t require design must be submitted at least three business days prior to anticipated date due. There are a couple of exceptions. Work orders must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to anticipated due date for: High-volume projects (10,000 or more copies: that means 10,000 or more reproductions of a single-sided sheet or 5,000 or more reproductions of a two-sided sheet) All classroom manuals Late requests for all design and printing needs will be considered but are not guaranteed.
The marketing department manages, prioritizes, and fulfills graphic design and production services from information provided in the work order. All information should be included in it.
Quality control:
Marketing relies on the submitter to supply all copywriting—or at least the raw material for it—and to fact check all information (e.g., names, dates, titles, schools/colleges/departments, contact numbers, weblinks, etc.). Please also supply any and all relevant material by uploading to the request.
