Health Insurance – LSSU offers medical, dental, and vision coverage. Cost and co-pays vary by employee group.
Retirement – LSSU provides a generous base contribution and a matching contribution towards retirement. Contributions are made into a 403B plan with TIAA. Employees also have the option to contribute additional pre-tax money into a supplemental plan with TIAA by payroll deduction. Vesting service is required for some employees.
Paid Time Off – All regular employees, including part-time workers, are provided a substantial amount of time away from work. Paid time off includes vacation, sick leave, personal leave, 10 holidays, funeral leave, and long-term disability.
Tuition – Employees can attend classes at LSSU tuition-free. Employee’s eligible dependents can attend for 1/2 price tuition.
