The Graymont Economic and Community Development Fund was created to provide financial support for economic and community development in areas directly and indirectly impacted by the Rexton Project.Â
The purpose of the Graymont Economic and Community Development Fund is to provide funding to organizations for small business support, assistance for schools and educators, human services, road and infrastructure improvements, conservation and enhancement of recreational opportunities, health and wellness in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Projects serving the townships/residents of Garfield, Hendricks, Hudson, Pentland and Trout Lake will receive special consideration.Â
Grant proposals will be accepted from eligible entities on an annual basis.

Close: May 31, 2025
All proposals must be received by May 31, 2025. Late proposals will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant. A review committee will competitively score and select proposals for award.Â
